Thanks To All Who DIY

We love it when people get their hands dirty. When they scrape their knees in the soil planting a garden or mess up their kitchen making a batch of cheese. We love do it yourselfers.

The spirit of DIY is what we’re all about at Rogue Farms. Growing our own hops, floor malting our own barley, smoking our own peppers.

Every year we sponsor Rogue Farms DIY Workshops, free events to help folks get started on a new hobby, a new business, or who are just curious and want to learn something new. We bring in local experts to teach the workshops, some of whom work here at Rogue Farms.

Last weekend it was our Beekeeping Workshop led by Rogue Farms Beekeeper Andrew Barham. Participants were given their own beekeeping suit to wear and got a first hand look inside the hives of our 7,140,289 honeybees.

Other workshops this season included Winter Sports, Winter Crafts, Cheese Making, and Spring Gardening.

Thanks to everyone who attended one of our workshops. Our next series of DIY Workshops begins in October. Look for our new schedule which we’ll post in late summer or early fall.

Until then, we’re planning weekend concerts, festivals, farm tours and other events to be announced. Come out to Rogue Farms this summer for another season of growing beer, spirits, ciders and sodas.

I love these DIY workshops! I went to the cheese making one last year and the bee keeping one a couple of weekends ago! Thank you so much ROGUE!
