A Berry Early Harvest

Last week, we began harvesting our two-acre yard of Prickless Marionberries.

Yes, it’s early — by about three weeks. Unusually warm weather in the Pacific Northwest ripened the berries at record speed.


Our Prickless Marionberries are ready to harvest when they turn deep purple.

Growing our own ingredients takes hard work. We’re hand-picking each berry as it ripens over the next 2-3 weeks.


Marionberries are known as the “Cabernet of Blackberries” for their complex, rich earthy flavor.

Oregon produces 28-33 million pounds of Marionberries annually. Rogue Farms’ Prickless Marionberries account for 0.000021212121212121215 of the annual harvest.
